No matter what time of year enjoying a great beer is universal. The Weekend Getaways crew and I found just the place in Sandpoint. Located just on the outskirts of town is a brewery that is creating what they like to call fetchingly good beer. Ben, the yellow lab, is the logo inspiration and the mascot for this local brewery. Who doesn’t love a dog as mascot! A true Northwest gem Laughing Dog is the epitome of the areas laid back attitude. They have up to 15 different beers at any given time so you’ll always find something to please everyone. We tasted all 15 beers on tap. That’s no small feat. I might mention, we all tasted the 15 different beers on tap together, I couldn’t drink 15 beers by myself! If you are looking for a true local flavor try the Huckleberry Cream Ale. It’s sold all over the Pacific Northwest and is a fan favorite.
