Lush Mountain Accommodations is in the heart of Kicking Horse Country in Golden B.C. If you’re looking for a vacation packed full of adventure this should be on your list. Offering the best of high adrenaline activities from skydiving to white water rafting in the summer to snowmobiling and heli-skiing in the winter. This mountain landscape is a gorgeous backdrop for adventure seekers. We stayed at the Minks on the mountain. This is a new home located right at the base of the Kicking Horse Mountain Resort. This home was massive and comfortable with modern rustic decor. Golden was the last stop on season one of Weekend Getaways and we were over the moon to end on such a high note. We each had not only our own massive suite but our own floor. After a year of traveling with each other this was an unbelievable luxury to have our own space. The slate showers were a great addition that gave an earthy spa quality to their bathrooms. The Minks has 6 bedrooms in total, each with their own ensuite bathroom. This is a great option for families or group trips. Little touches like the bluetooth enabled speakers make for a fun stay lending itself to impromptu dance parties all through the night.
