Big fans of whitewater rafting, we were on the hunt for a great adventure. Missoula is in the heart of of Big Sky Country. If you love the outdoors and outdoor activities this is the perfect location for your weekend getaway of fun. The Clark Fork River flows right through town and lends itself to head out for some adventure on the water. Montana River Guides provides custom float trips from rafting, kayaking, riverboarding and more. So of course we teamed up with their guides for this episode of Weekend Getaways. The Gorge is the premium whitewater run in Montana with rollicking Class II, III and IV rapids giving you a wild ride. It was a blast running the legendary rapids Cliffside, Tumbleweed and Fang. Afterwards the Weekend Getaways crew and I took a little time to swim, relax and soak up the sun and scenery. It’s a great way to wind down after your adventurous trip. We loved hanging out with this group so much. They really went the extra mile to make our trip one to remember. They even helped our crew carry gear up a mountainside to get the best shots.
